The sushi at Sushi no Musashi was a game-changer – a fresh twist that took my taste buds on a ride! Also, close by Chao Chao Sanjo Kiyamachi was a delightful spot for gyoza. Oh, and the private bathroom setup was a luxurious touch that made relaxing after a day of adventures super special.

Had a bit of a rough start when a staffer woke me up over payment issues—kinda rude. They really should've just slipped a note under my door instead of disturbing me.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel, particularly enjoying how close it was to both Nishiki Market and beautiful Maruyama Park, which made my morning walks so pleasant and vibrant.

Fast Wi-Fi and friendly 24-hour reception were great, but locker room felt cramped.

The compartments have a unique design that maximizes space efficiently. They include privacy curtains and personal lighting, making them decent for a quick rest.

Air conditioning limits to 22°C, making it pretty stifling inside the capsules. Noise from guests outside your capsule can be disruptive, particularly near the entrance, as doors get slammed and conversations carry through the thin walls. Additionally, there’s a security concern with a staff door being easily accessed, compromising the privacy of lockers and bathrooms. earplugs help but don’t completely drown out the sounds. The comfort level of the pillows isn’t impressive, needing a rethink.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Glansit Kyoto Kawaramachi. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to various restaurants and delightful shops.
